Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: August 28, 2026 · Effective: August 28, 2026

In short: Values you enter into CalculatorFlux calculators are processed in your browser and are not sent to us. Optional analytics remain off until you allow them. Information you deliberately submit through our contact form is sent to us through the form processor described below. We do not currently serve display advertising.

1. Who operates CalculatorFlux

CalculatorFlux is an independent website operated by Hassaan Rasheed. For questions or requests concerning this policy or personal information, email [email protected].

2. Information we process

Calculator entries

Calculator inputs and results are processed locally in your browser. We do not receive or log the salary, health, financial, pregnancy, construction, or other values you type into a calculator unless a particular page clearly tells you otherwise before you submit anything.

Website delivery and security data

When a browser requests a page, our hosting, content-delivery, and security providers may process standard request information such as IP address, date and time, requested URL, referrer, browser or device information, and security signals. This is used to deliver the site, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and maintain security. Their logs are retained according to their own operational and legal requirements.

Optional analytics

If you allow analytics through our privacy choices, we load Google Analytics 4 and Ahrefs Web Analytics. A browser request to Google includes the page URL and IP address; GA4 also uses a pseudonymous client identifier and can report sessions, interactions, approximate location, language, and browser or device information. Ahrefs processes page URL, referrer, user agent, language, link clicks, form-submission events, and city/country derived from IP address. It says it discards raw IP addresses and uses an IP-and-user-agent hash with a salt replaced every 24 hours. We use these reports to understand site use, find errors, and decide which tools to improve. We do not intentionally send calculator input values, names, email addresses, or contact-message contents to either analytics service.

Contact messages

If you use our contact form, we process the name, email address, subject, message, and any other information you choose to provide. The form is transmitted through Web3Forms so it can be delivered to our email. Web3Forms states that it forwards submissions rather than storing their contents, but may keep server logs for up to two months. Do not include calculator inputs, medical records, financial account details, passwords, or other sensitive information in a contact message.

3. Cookies and browser storage

CalculatorFlux uses or may use the following storage:

You can accept or reject optional analytics on the first visit and reopen Privacy choices at any time. Blocking or clearing browser storage may cause the choice banner to appear again.

4. Services that receive information

Some providers process information in the United States or other countries. Their own privacy terms and the transfer mechanisms applicable to their services govern that processing. Contact us if you want information we have available about a provider's relevant transfer mechanism.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

CalculatorFlux does not currently serve display ads. If we activate Google AdSense, we will identify the change in this policy and provide the consent and opt-out controls required for the visitor's region before ad tags run.

When AdSense is active, third-party vendors including Google may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve, limit, secure, and measure ads. Google's advertising cookies allow Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to CalculatorFlux and/or other sites where the visitor has consented to personalized advertising. Visitors can control personalized Google advertising through Google Ads Settings and can learn about other industry opt-outs at YourAdChoices. Google explains its partner-site processing in the link above.

Before ads are served to visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework. The site's current privacy control manages analytics only and is not represented as that certified advertising CMP.

6. Why we process information

Where applicable, we rely on consent for optional analytics, legitimate interests for proportionate security, service operation, and ordinary support or feedback; steps requested before a possible contract for partnership inquiries where applicable; and legal obligations where required. You may withdraw analytics consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.

7. Retention and security

The consent record stays in this browser until it is replaced, reset, or cleared. Our current Google Analytics property retains event-level data for two months and certain user-level data for fourteen months, resetting that user-data period on new activity. Ahrefs Web Analytics history may remain in our project until the project or account is deleted; Ahrefs says it otherwise retains data only as needed for its stated purposes and legal obligations. Web3Forms says it does not retain submission contents and periodically deletes server logs within two months. Contact messages delivered to our mailbox are retained while reasonably needed to answer, document, secure, or resolve the request, then deleted unless a longer legal or dispute-related need applies. Delivery and security logs are kept according to each infrastructure provider's documented schedule and as needed to investigate abuse.

We use HTTPS and reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no Internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. Sale, sharing, and sensitive information

We do not sell personal information. We do not use calculator entries for advertising, profiling, or analytics because those entries are not sent to us. We disclose information to service providers only for the functions described in this policy, when you direct us to do so, when required by law, or when necessary to protect rights and security. If future advertising creates additional state-law opt-out obligations, we will provide the required controls before activating it.

Browsers do not share one universally implemented Do Not Track standard, so the site does not change behavior solely in response to a DNT header. Optional analytics is nevertheless denied by default until you make a choice. We do not currently run advertising tags or use personal information we control for cross-context behavioral advertising. We treat a Global Privacy Control signal as a request not to sell or share data for that purpose; there is no active sale/share advertising process to disable today. We will honor legally applicable browser signals and add regional advertising controls before activating ads.

9. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or information about the personal data processed about you; to object to certain processing; to withdraw consent; or to appeal a response. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.

Use Privacy choices to change analytics consent. For another request, email [email protected]. We may need to verify that a request concerns you, and we will respond within the period required by applicable law. Because calculator inputs are never sent to us, we cannot retrieve them.

10. Children

CalculatorFlux is intended for users age 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that a child under 13 sent us personal information, we will review and delete it where required. A parent or guardian can contact us using the address above.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when our services, providers, or legal obligations change. The date at the top identifies the current version. Material changes will be presented through an appropriate site notice or renewed choice when required.
